Key Skills and Competencies

Professional Journey

After relocating from the United States to Canada in 1997, I continued my educational career in Alberta, Canada, working with Provincial and First Nations school systems. My 18-year tenure at Stoney Education Authority (SEA) provided invaluable experience in addressing the unique needs of diverse educational communities. Stepping into various leadership roles, I contributed to meaningful change, addressing systemic barriers, and fostering positive outcomes for students and educators alike.

In July 2021, I returned to the U.S. and joined the local public school system as an instructor. This role offered firsthand insight into the challenges faced by educators and students in the U.S., deepening my empathy and understanding of their needs. My current focus is transitioning into the Educational Technology (SaaS) sector, where I aim to leverage my expertise to make a broader impact.

Vision and Aspirations

My career aspirations align with advancing technology-driven education solutions. I bring a unique perspective, blending hands-on teaching experience, leadership skills, and a strong understanding of the EdTech landscape in both the U.S. and Canada. My ability to adapt, travel, and work across time zones makes me an ideal candidate for organizations looking to expand their global impact.

I am confident in my ability to contribute meaningfully to organizations that value innovation, inclusivity, and community impact. With a strong connection to Alberta, Canada, and professional experience across North America, I am eager to collaborate with SaaS Educational Technology companies and other mission-driven organizations.

Closing Thoughts

I am excited about this new phase of my career and the opportunity to contribute to transformative educational initiatives. I look forward to embracing new challenges, leveraging my expertise, and driving impactful solutions in the EdTech space.

Thank you,
