Nakoda Elementary School (est.2012)

Collaborated with other SEA Staff, Architects (Workund Garrett Partnership), and Dawson/Wallace Construction Company on completion and opening of Nakoda Elementary School for Stoney Education Authority from 2011-2012.

Project Management of staff transition and move with division, organization and development of school planning, scheduling, transfer of data and student information system, all aspects of grand opening of new elementary school within the Stoney Nakoda Reserve and First Nation Community, and other funding and reporting to SEA and INAC (Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada) with regards to Nominal Roll and funding components with project.   As well as all reporting initiatives and assignments per SEA Administration and Director and Stoney Nakoda Band Leadership during this time.

Created SEA Parent and Student Resource and Website portal for online information and access during crossover to online learning platform for SEA during COVID Pandemic

As SEA Coordinator, organized and managed INAC federal education budget under designation of FNSSP (First Nation Student Success Program) for SEA of 1.5 Million to maintain educational programming and assessment in the areas of Literacy and Numeracy for Preschool to Grade 12 with the 4 schools within Stoney Education Authority.  This involved Assessment planning for BOY, MOY, and EOY in these areas, as well as data management and reporting to Stoney Tribal Authority, Stoney Education Authority, and Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada.  As well as many other various roles and responsibilities within SEA (see job description on "Digital Resume" page).

Hosted, planned, and collaborated a visit from the US Secretary of Education under President Obama and the US Secret Service following the opening of the new Nakoda Elementary School.

Organized planning each year for SEA Orange Shirt Day "Every Child Matters" event each year with SEA/STA schools and community organizations collectively, along with other SEA annual events and collaborations with other Treaty 7 Nations such as tournaments, graduations, professional developments, and cultural celebrations.

Managed, coordinated, and planned the first ever G4 Educational Conference between Stoney Education Authority and Tsuu Tina Education, along with other SEA and TTE staff.  Organized and booked location and presenters, coordinated staffing and location, managed budget, and created and co-managed social media and website presence for this educational conference.
